Ballpark math
Many travel CPAPs average roughly 30–60 W depending on pressure, humidifier, and heated hose. Example: 40 W × 8 h = 320 Wh at the load.
With WattNeeds defaults, 1 night:
nameplate ≈ 320 × 1.15 / 0.81 ≈ 455 Wh
Add phone + small CPAP humidifier extremes and router/fan and you may need ~1000 Wh class (see validation scenario S5 in the pilot notes).
Practical tips
- Prefer manufacturer DC cable when available (better efficiency than AC inverter path).
- Test a full night at home before travel.
- Check inverter continuous watts even if Wh looks fine.
